Key elements included:
-
Night-time working and phased scheduling to reduce operational impact.
-
Integration of drainage, ducting, and civil upgrades to streamline delivery.
-
Collaboration on plant logistics, resource sharing, and safety compliance.
Outcome
Delivered within the agreed programme, the Cardiff Airport works strengthened critical infrastructure across the runway and taxiway network. The project not only improved operational resilience but also provided a foundation for future upgrades, ensuring the airport can meet increasing demands with confidence.
